How much do we enjoy working on new visual identity projects? A lot, and here we show you the work we carried out for Bellissima Zero.

Bellissima is a historic beverage brand that was born from a collaboration between Iconic Brands USA and Christie Brinkley, an American TV star. In 2021 Bellissima decided to launch a new line of still wines (low in alcohol and low in sugar) and asked us to oversee the art direction for the entire line of new labels.

We selected the floral element of an icon of the brand, Botticelli’s Venus, and asked Silvia Stella Osella, an illustrator specialising in fashion fabric design, to rework the original design.

Each Bellissima Zero bottle now has its own floral arrangement, underlining the delicacy of the wines and the brand’s connection with nature.

Xilo, an Italian producer of frozen seafood products, needed a solution to gain positions in supermarkets. How could this be done?

The refrigerated shelf section tends to be rather bleak. The fish market, on the other hand, is truly enjoyable: the shouting, commotion, characteristic smells and confusion. Having to create a brand from scratch, we decided we wanted to recreate that mood.

The new brand is called ‘Lo Pesce’: an easy-to-remember and popular Italian name.

Lo Pesce’s image is colourful and self-deprecating.

Using Elia Colombo’s illustrations, we designed an illustrated pack system, telling the story of each product through an aesthetic inspired by Italian comics from the 1970s, adapted to digital needs and made “Instagrammable”.

Lo Pesce therefore becomes the brand buddy for students, young couples, inveterate singles and busy parents. A line of seafood products designed for millennials.

Skilla is a top player in the eLearning sector, i.e. online, but it needed to have a public face to confirm it, as it is not only present online: when they contacted us they were in need of a new identity.

We took care of every detail, starting from a strategic plan in order to reach the visual identity and the new tone of voice of the brand, tailoring the new identity to all the touchpoints of the brand: website, sales and corporate material, social media channels and materials for events.

Milan is a thousand voices, forms, styles. It is a diverse city, never the same and yet always recognisable.

The perception of Milan, like that of all cities, is partly influenced by the way people communicate, both online and offline. So we worked together with YesMilano, a Milano&Partners association brand, to align the communication of the city… with the city.

When you arrive in Milan, you see YesMilano. At the airport, at the station, in the street. It could be love at first sight. YesMilano was created and exists to make a good first impression to those who visit Milan and to maintain that impression over time.

The new YesMilano speaks like modern-day Milan: it is direct, optimistic, cheerful. It appeals to tourists and workers, making them feel immediately at home, and engages with people to make them feel part of the city. It does not speak just one, but rather two, three, and an infinite number of languages, just like on every street, every day. And it doesn’t deal with one theme because the city doesn’t have just one. Its language is inclusive and speaks about cross-cutting themes.

YesMilano now represents a city that is open and ready to welcome everyone. An iconic and functional city, created by talent from around the world, and organised to offer the best opportunities for work and life. It also represents the city through the people who live there. Like Ghali, protagonist of the first campaign launched with the new identity to inaugurate the new beginning of Milan.
