Bellissima is a US brand of beverages which is the result of a collaboration between Iconic Brands USA and American TV star Christie Brinkley. During the spring of 2022, the brand asked us to completely redesign its website.

What could we do if not make it “bellissimo”?

We worked closely with the company to put a platform online that would showcase all the wine and prosecco lines on offer, highlighting their characteristics and features, without forgetting to present the brand, its corporate values and its commitment to the planet.

All this is accompanied by a fresh and dynamic design that makes navigation pleasant and memorable.

How much do we enjoy working on new visual identity projects? A lot, and here we show you the work we carried out for Bellissima Zero.

Bellissima is a historic beverage brand that was born from a collaboration between Iconic Brands USA and Christie Brinkley, an American TV star. In 2021 Bellissima decided to launch a new line of still wines (low in alcohol and low in sugar) and asked us to oversee the art direction for the entire line of new labels.

We selected the floral element of an icon of the brand, Botticelli’s Venus, and asked Silvia Stella Osella, an illustrator specialising in fashion fabric design, to rework the original design.

Each Bellissima Zero bottle now has its own floral arrangement, underlining the delicacy of the wines and the brand’s connection with nature.

BOT is the wine that speaks to millennials using the language of the web through a colourful and ironic identity, while moving away from the traditional methods of communication used by the wine sector.

After observing the brand identity and strategy of BOT, we moved on to creating its channels, including the website. In doing so, we wanted to respect the identity of the brand in all its aspects, making the user experience appealing from the first to the last page: Easter eggs and irreverent copy make the BOT website truly one of a kind.

We created an all-Italian identity for this new wine in a can, which distances itself from the traditional methods of communication used by the wine sector. We started from the stereotypes of Italianness to build a colourful, original and powerful brand. The clumsiness of the approaches at the beach, the local gestures, the summer sunburn: all elements that end up in cans of Splash Wine.

Bellissima is a US wine brand with a strong focus on diversity and we worked together with them to find the perfect way to communicate this theme with the outside world.

We were mainly involved with image production, designing and organising product shoots, relying on Beautopya (our street casting agency) to select the models.

The result is modern, natural and inclusive images which reference, among other things, vegetarian cuisine.

Lamole di Lamole is a historic, organically run Chianti Classico winery. The aim of the brand was to communicate the winery’s strong link with the Tuscan territory and to increase visibility.

It was for this reason that we organised an influencer marketing activity, inviting six creators to a two-day tour of Lamole, complete with original activities and masterclasses. The results were excellent: in addition to documenting the beauty of the Chianti Classico area and the quality of the products, the creators conveyed all the passion, work and expertise of the Lamole di Lamole team to their communities.

“Notes of Chianti Classico” is the first podcast produced by a winery in Italy, created with the aim of telling the story of a winery with an ancient tradition and unique characteristics such as Lamole di Lamole.

We chose to use an innovative communication system for the wine sector, which looks at the changing entertainment habits of an increasing number of users.

The six episodes of “Note di Chianti Classico” are a multi-voice conversation between those who live, study and love the Chianti Classico territory. Stories and suggestions contained in a podcast that guides the listener on the discovery and deepening knowledge of a very special reality, still rural, where life flows according to natural rhythms and where one of the most famous and most highly appreciated Italian wines in the world is produced.

In the world of wine, few brands target the Millennials and manage to make the most of their cultural references. Together with Botter, we wanted to try to fill this gap.

This is how BOT – Bottle On the Table came to be, a wine brand completely ‘made on the internet’ that speaks directly to Millennials as a Millennial would: it trolls Boomers, uses memes, and breaks the mould of communication in the sector.

No more stereotypes, no more pictures of romantic vineyards or raising a glass with friends.

BOT is pop, daring and colourful: from the labels – illustrated by the artist Vito Manolo – to the packaging, from the aromas listed on the data sheets which then become hashtags, to the culinary pairings against all stereotypes, every detail shows the BOT generation’s vision of wine.

A brand that breaks the rules of the web: the website is populated with animations and easter eggs that appear by surprise and, on social networks, the brand has little difficulty breaking through the fourth wall in order to reach the final consumer.

Not the classic patinated wine to be drunk from a glass of the finest crystal glassware, but rather a strong, quality wine with a simple, rustic soul.

Terre dei Buth is a reflection of the Veneto region, a symbol of the freedom and simplicity of life in contact with nature.

In creating the brand identity, we were inspired by the young people who choose to leave their hectic lives behind and devote themselves to countryside activities, away from the noise and chaos of the city, in search of the freedom and well-being that only this lifestyle can provide. Strategy, visual identity, art direction, design, and website: we have created an all-round brand, ensuring that we convey the ideal of a return to living a more authentic style of life.

To realise the contents of Terre dei Buth we recreated the typical country home environment, often linked to farming, with all its characteristic elements. Nature is found mainly in the essential packaging of the product: the labels, created in collaboration with the illustrator Irene Laschi, make a leap into the world of agriculture, allowing the nuance of shape and colour of certain vegetables to be perceived, fully experiencing Terre dei Buth.
